my oldest daughter

ok - so I'm addicted - OH WELL! LOL! here's another one I did tonight -

Credits: papers by Monti and template #8 by Renea Nicholson

#2 only weighed 4 pounds and 4.5 ounces when she was born and now she's not so small! It amazes me everyday!

Her birthday every year makes me feel toooo old. And everyday she looks more and more like me.

well tonight I'm going to write a new section of my story - I know enough to mess anyone up but I'm in a "chatty" mood!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let me tell you how I met the generous man who gave me #2 and all that led up to that.
This one day in late July 1995 my friend Melica (sorry can't remember how it's spelled!) came over and said "hey come stay with me for awhile". So I'm thinking ok, why not? So I pack up a laundry basket of clothes and makeup and jump in the car she brought over. Now you may wonder why this would even be taking place - well she knew I hated being at home with my mom and she'd just got her own place so was finally able to help me out. We'd been best buds for quite awhile and had camped out here and there before when in a bind so I was glad it was a permanent place.
Well we get over to her place on Mauvisterre Street (I was living on Walnut where there now is a Casey's) and I get to finally see her brand new baby - Sierra. She was the cutest thing ever! Plus Brian and Amanda was there too. And before I even get completely settled in Melica takes off to return the car. I'm thinking OK she'll be right back I guess. So I go get my stuff unpacked and I think I even took a shower (can't remember now) either that or changed my clothes.
When I get out of the bathroom still no Melica! So I go into the other room and chill & chat with Brian and Amanda.
And still no Melica!
So I think we ate supper and then Brian walked to Wareco or somewhere to call some people to see where she was. While he was gone me & Amanda took Sierra outside and sat on the side porch cause it was a little cooler outside than in.
That's when I seen him. This kinda heavyset guy who looked like some kind of thug with something shaved into the back of his hair. All I'm thinking is - what kind of dork is this! I mean yeah he was cute and all but still!
He hollered something like - "what's going on?" and I said something equally dumb like - "nothin much - u?" and he said - "nothin, like my hair? lost a bet and got this" and I was like - "what's it say?" (by now he's stopped so we don't have to yell too much) and - get this - he says - "it says *UCK U" and I told him - "your CRAZY!" and he keeps on walking.
By this time Brian came back and he was PISSED! Especially since she still wasn't home.
So we sit around for awhile and smoke, turn on the black light and chill. It's now been like 4 or 5 hours since she left.
We start hearing some music from one of the neighbors and of course dumb me had to go see LOL! So I go sit on the side porch that they had at their front door. After awhile of sitting there here comes that guy with another guy, up the back alley which I have my back to (which scared me). And they procede to invite me to this party which is going on a couple doors down. I decline thinking there ain't no way! I don't even know these guys! So they tell me they'll bring me a beer here in a bit. I, of course would never turn down a free beer! LOL!
Then who pulls in but Melica herself! So I walk up with her thinking - OH GREAT! So as soon as we walk in Brian's yelling (well quietly - didn't want to wake the baby!). And I look around and notice that it's just me, him, and her - umm not a good sign! So I'm like - "hey you guys I gotta run somewhere real quick, be back in a min" and I go back to the porch.
I hear them coming toward the stairs which means I could get dragged into it so I take off walking down the street. I walk all the way down to the square and then turn around and walk back. But then I got to thinking - I'm out after curfew! DAMN!
So I go to walk down East Street cause it's not as busy usually. (I had just spent a couple of months living near the corner of East & College so I knew how it was.) As I'm walking around the corner of Beecher & East so I can come up the alley I notice someone sitting on the church's steps, which scares the CRAP out of me!
(more great dialoge here LOL) I'm like - "oh, hi!" and he's like - "hey, what's goin on? want some of this?" and holds out a joint. "SURE! why not!" so he passes it to me and asks - "do I know you? what's your name?" and I'm say - "don't think so, I'm Anne (last name here) who are you?" he says - "oh, nope don't know ya - my name's Virgil (last name here)" this whole time we're passing it back and forth. So I say "nope never met ya before now".
Then out of the alley zooms Melica! I'm like DAMN! Cause I thought she was staying home. So I tell dude I gotta go and that it was nice meeting him, thanks and all that - then continue walking.
Once I round the corner I realize that hey dumbas* dude was staring pretty hard at you so you better book it down this alley cause it's awful dark. So I start out jogging down the alley so he can't catch up to me or see where I'm going. And then I get this bright idea to not go to Melica's house but down a bit more and then through the houses to the front. So that way if dude did see me then he wouldn't know EXACTLY where I went. Sounded like a good idea right?
WRONG!
Then I run into this other guy who is outside his apartment drinking too. And he of course tries to talk to me and I'm trying not to be rude or anything but get away a quickly as possible. So he's following me as I'm walking. As I round the house and turn to go to Melica's dude is trying to put his arm around me - UGH! Thankfully there is the first guy I met and his friend (1st dork I met with shaved head - lol!).
He says - "hey thought you was going to party with us tonight?" while laughing - A*SHOLE! He knew what was going on! I give him the most evil look I can while pushing dude's arm off of me and say "of course I am!"
HEHEHE! then I did something that was completely evil and unexpected - I walked over and hugged him then held his hand like we were bf & gf !!! Then I looked up at him through lowered eyes just in time to see the look that he passed his friend. It was pure shock - and I LOVED it!
So he decides to get even with me (I guess?) he invites drunk guy to the party too. So we get ready to go over there and I realize I didn't tell Brian where I was. So I say to shaved dude - "hey come with me for a min so I can tell my friend where I'm going" and he says ok. So we walk there first and as I go to open the door he says "oh I'll just stay down here" - and I say "umm ok?"
So I go upstairs and tell Brian that I'm going over to this party and I'll be back in a bit. He says ok but I'm locking the door when you leave so you'll have to knock and wake me up when your back. I say ok even though I know I would NEVER do that to him. That would be down right rude!
I go back down and ask dude "hey what's your name?" and he says "Kris, what's yours?" and of course I tell him mine =)
As we're walking over to the party he grabs my hand (aww!). I told him "hey you do know that drunk dude isn't my bf, right?" and he says "yea I know but we're going to have some fun with him tonight, k?" and I think to myself what harm could it be? so I say "ok, whatever, but he's a dork. hey when we get in here sit by me and don't let him sit by me, k?"
And Kris turned to me and said "ok. are you ready to drink? cause we play this game called 3 man - you'll get trashed!"
And I look at him and say "of course, I'm up for anything! let's go!"
sex
you know what I'm feeling tipsy - for the first time in ohhhhhhhhh about a year. know what else? people change, yet they stay the same. I know don't make no sense but still - it's my story!
this will be one of those all over blogs - i can see it now!
i've realized with this past night that sometimes it best to just leave well enough alone - that sometimes although there are not clear signs that someone is done, but in fact they are. trouble is I am one of those people that don't know when to stop I wish people would just be like hey I'm done. but nope they dont do that so I'm left to figure it out on my own ----- I know a fuckin riddle but so is life!
tonight i realized how much I miss our old housemates & drinking buddies - i love it when I have another woman in cahoots with me LOL!
tonight i realized also that some people like to hold the title but not many actually follow through - or ACTUALLY are what they say they are
oh well it was insightful night for me - so that's a plus! now a story =)
there was this one time a band camp...........
naw I'm playing!
about ready for a sex story?? well I got one today!
this one day I was drinking Canadian Mist Whiskey - the first of many gallons I helped finish this summer (1994) although i did many crazy things this summer one day was especially crazy. Me and a good friend (guy) was drinking with another friend (girl) and we decided it'd be really cool if he'd try on his sister's (?) prom dress - which was funnier than hell cause of course we were drunk by now.
For some reason we decided that to hell with it we'd go ahead and have sex - what the hell we were friends after all! So onward we proceded - to have sex with him in his sister's prom dress and I semi-dressed. Let me tell you - it was the weirdest sex I think I've ever had - which says alot!! We was before that and after that the bestest friends although we decided that after that point not to mention it LOL! And also to always have ready and willing partners to "boink!" when we drank after that day LOL!
he's another long lost friend of mine I wish I could sit next too and say - hey remember that time...... LOL!
good times, good times!
______________
as a side note to the above, I should mention of how I look at sex in general. I don't see sex as this all powerful "love" thing. I see sex as the equivelant of experience points. I have lots of exp. points and we'll leave it as that! I never regret any of it - never will - but I also don't ignore it either!
oh well most people don't understand it - just me
better go before I type something I shouldn't!
stupid ver*zon!
Well I haven't been able to write lately We've just been too busy!
Plus, I got into it with the phone company - f**kin Verizon! I'm so sick of their screwed up ways of doing things. **stupid blonde thing next ->** So I told them to shove their DSL up their pooper! STUPID ANNE! I completely and utterly despise dial-up. I have no clue how people can even DO anything with it. My mail won't d/l and it's getting REALLY backed up! And what really sucks is that I can't call anyone while online. I am ashamed to say how many times I've picked up the phone to call out and heard that damn dial-up noise LOL! Tonight I tried to d/l a nice little program someone was just too great to upload for me and UGH! Something that was only like 50mb took about an hour! So needless to say when Darkside's ex pays child support this next week I'm getting DSL back - one way or another! Hopefully through Earthlink - their the only ones I've found so far that will do DSL here beside f**kin Verizon.
I've got many pics to show everyone but with dial-up, not gonna happen.
Avon's been chuggin along got 2 new customers this past campaign, so that's always good!
Finally went to the library and got those books. The Teenage Liberation Handbook isn't my cup of tea but that's probably because it's meant for a teenager and not a parent. But I read it anyway, just in case. I've got about 4 other un/home/schooling books here that I got too but haven't really dug into them yet.
We got our stuff from VistaPrint today YEA! I just love getting stuff from them! This time we got stuff with our new number on them and some postcards for our now ANNUAL halloween party -YEA! They're the best out of the whole box! Can't wait to stick em in the mail!
I also finally dug out my story I hadn't worked on it since 05!! I've only added about 3 paragraphs to it but it's a start! I'm gonna start pasting bits and pieces of it in here from time to time - I just love how seeing something online kinda concretes it (ya know?).
Now I gotta go do some website designing. Hope everyone has a great Friday night!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amanda might remember this
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I'm not sure where to begin this really. I'm thinking it's best to start somewhat at the beginning and work forward. Well work at least up until present time whenever I decide to end this. Ever since I can remember I've wanted to write an autobiography, don't ask me why, just wanted to. Possibly cause I'm always saying I remember everything cause no one else bothers to. And I know someday I may not remember and then who will? This way it's set in paper (or disk….haha!), hopefully to never be forgotten.
But as I was saying, I always have wanted to write this. Over the years I of course told different friends and acquaintances that I would write about this or that which was happening at the time. And they would either give me a nod and a look that said, "Yea, right - NOT!" or they would roll their eyes openly and say, "yea Anne, sure!". A few would say, "Yea and you could say this and this" or "that would be cool to read about someday". No one ever objected or said don't put my name in there or don't write about me. Till one day in December 1995. And the last person I ever thought would say something said, "Don't put my name in there". Let me explain, this guy was one of the nicest, happy-go-lucky person I've ever met. He was up for anything and everything, never serious. Or so I thought. But when he said that he was as serious as I have ever seen him. I tried to laugh it off when he said that, but he said, "No, I'm serious. Don't even put me in it". And I told him I'd just put your initials, not your full name or anything. And he said, "No, nothing at all!". Now some of you may be saying to yourselves, she didn't listen none, huh. Well I did listen. But that dear friend passed from this earth not to long ago (as I write, anyhow). And I would really like for everyone to remember him. He was a very dear man who in his own way brought lots to this earth. All who ever had the pleasure of meeting him will sadly miss him. Also I believe that had I got the chance to re-ask if I could add him in my story, I think he would have said yes. I think he would have turned to me and said, "What?! I don't remember that at all!" (I get that a lot. The point of this remember?)
Now those of you who know me and run in the same circles don't be bugging me about who it is. I'll never tell. Those who were there should of remembered, and if you don't then too bad! I will someday reveal this story to his offspring and besides that, no one else needs to know.
But for that friend, I hope your having fun doing what you did best - slaying dragons, sitting on your very own throne made of gold, smoking some fat ones, succeeding at being that ultimate dealer you always tried to do here, and of course getting it on with as many females as possible. I know your having the time of your life. You'll be greatly missed, always.
my story
well while I sit here wait for Darkside to get done blogging I figured I could drop a couple lines
If ya live in Roodhouse (maybe Whitehall too!) & tomorrow get an AVON book on your door or porch then YEP it was me! We're planning on going out tomorrow and toss all my books - about 150 of them. Darkside was laughing and saying how there probably ain't even that many houses here LOL! I guess if I run out of houses I'll give one to everyone's dog - then everyone & their dog will have one
Writing in the blog so much has got me really wanting to finish my book, especially since I said once I got a laptop I'd really work on it. Most of you probably don't remember (or was never told) that I planned to someday write up my life story. Well I've already started - got about 12 pages done so far! Bad part is I always do things in order and so that's just covering my family LOL! Gotta remember though, I got a BIG family - just my mom's side has more than 50 from my grandma & grandpa & down! (I could be off in my numbers by about 5, but don't think so) scary part is there ain't been a lull in the addition since the 80's!
But anyway - what really got me thinking about it is I went into one of my speil's about my past today. It was about the summer & fall of 95 - this trip down lasted about an hour. Though the kids thought I talked FOREVER of course LOL!
And no I'm not one of those holier-than-thou types that think I just led such a FABULOUS life that everyone would WANT to read about it. I just want to have an account of my life so that way if anything should ever happen, then my kids will know my stories forever. Cause as irony would have it, I will probably have a stroke & not remember. I have this little quirk about me that MAKES me remember EVERYTHING with great detail. Most other regular people will be like - HUH? How'd ya remember that one Anne? and stoners - don't even get me started! You'd think with all the shit I'd done over the years I wouldn't remember - but NOPE! Which is good actually cause I really need all those brain cells now. I also have other things working against me though - I have high blood pressure & a family history of strokes. Multiple strokes that unfortunately leave brain damage. Yeah, great odds, eh? Get to writing Anne!
And you know what - something I just thought of (family & health issues, etc.) It's real nice how everyone (like WIC) went around saying if you breastfeed it reduced your risks to get breast cancer. That shit is WRONG! My grandma breastfed (for longer than a couple months) 4 of the 7 kids and guess what? She just was diagnosed with breast cancer last year! At 70 something! And guess who listened to those people (like WIC)? YEP yours truly! I've breastfed 2 of the 4 - and let me tell you #3 was a MONSTER! That boy would of sucked a milk cow dry! So look at me people - I'm a dur-da-dur!
Still ain't made it to the library yet
well he's been done, gotta go!
later...
*edited* - his thing is screwing up for now so if ya wanted to read it too then you'll have to wait till later!
